March 5 was my little niece, McKenzie's birthday. She turned 14.
You see this particular neice's birthday is a little hard for me because that means in just 3 short months Patrick will be the same age. Yes, he will be 14. Everytime McKenzie gets older I question how that happened. How is it that she is so old. And how is it that I have a son that old.
It is a little hard for me to take in.

When you say Patrick will be 14 it makes me feel old! Even though I've seen him grow, he still seems like he should only be 7 or 8. But I know the feeling...Hallie is turning 5 this year. For some reason, 5 is a big milestone for me and I can't believe my baby girl will be 5!
ahhh sweetie.. He can't be... i will never forget the bumper shopping carts we played when he was little.... guess thats a thing of the past.
